Journey to Net Zero: Emission Reporting for NZ's biggest companies [Interactive Report]

We were asked to create a true picture of New Zealand businesses’ climate progress. Today, the results have been published.

The process to develop a meaningful assessment methodology for our biggest companies was quite a journey.

The resulting report is a snapshot of what some of Aotearoa’s largest companies have done on their journeys to net zero carbon. While overall scores are typically low, almost every company is doing something well, which could be positively built on into the future.

We’re delighted to:
1. be invited to take this forward annually as a longitudinal study in partnership with Stuff and The University of Otago.

2. Continue the work we’ve been advancing since 2008 to support both national and global organisations in partnership to deliver and measure ambitious sustainability and climate outcomes.
