Loveblock Wine

  • Product Carbon Footprint and Transition Plan

Loveblock is an organically-certified winery situated high on the hills above Marlborough's Awatere Valley. As grape growers and wine farmers, the Loveblock team embrace the opportunity to be custodians of the land.

We undertook a carbon footprint for the Loveblock wine product range. The initial brief was to undertake a footprint analysis across the full supply chain (Scopes 1-3) to best understand where Loveblock was currently at.

  • Two-thirds (64%) of consumers said they are more likely to think positively about a brand that could demonstrate it had lowered the carbon footprint of its products (YouGov & Carbon Trust).

  • 42% of US people surveyed are willing to pay extra for sustainable products or services with an average premium of 37% (Simon-Kucher & Partners).

We also supported Loveblock to understand sequestration potential of their land.
